Terms
The agreement between you and us when you use Splitter, buy Pro or subscribe to Splitter Studio. It is short on purpose.

Who you are dealing with
Splitter is made by Full Cart Limited, established in Hong Kong. Questions about anything here go to info@fullcart.agency.
What is free
Recording, editing, cutting, zooms, camera backdrops, notes and your own voice-over cost nothing and have no time limit. Exports are 1080p and carry a small Splitter mark in the corner.
What Pro is
Pro is a single payment of $59. That is the whole price: nothing is added at checkout. Pro unlocks exports without the mark up to 4K, film burns and sound effects, generated music, the AI voice-over and automatic captions, and every update we release afterwards. It is not a subscription and it does not expire. Splitter needs a Mac on macOS 13 or later.
If you bought Pro before Splitter Studio existed, Auto edit stays part of your Pro, under the same fair use as below.
Pro belongs to your account and may be used on two Macs at a time. You can move it: remove a Mac from your account page and use another. It is for you or your company — please do not share the account or resell the licence.
What Splitter Studio is
Splitter Studio is a subscription of $20 a month, on top of Pro. It adds Auto edit, cloud storage for your recordings and projects, and one editor seat. It renews each month on the day you started, until you cancel.
Cancel whenever you like from your account page. Studio stays on until the end of the month you have paid for and is not renewed after that; we do not charge for, or refund, part of a month. If we change the price, we tell you at least thirty days before it applies, so you can cancel first.
Auto edit in Studio is fair use, as described under the AI features below. Cloud storage holds up to 100 GB. The editor seat is for one person who edits your videos: they sign in with their own account, see every project in your cloud with its recordings, can change the edits and add files, and cannot replace or delete yours. While your Studio runs, the seat also gives them Pro and Auto edit, on your account. You can give the seat to someone else once a week. When Studio ends, what you stored stays yours to download for ninety days; after that it is deleted. Your account page shows the date.
Paying, and changing your mind
Payment goes through Stripe, and the invoice appears on your account page. Pro and Studio unlock the moment you pay.
If Splitter is not what you hoped for, write to info@fullcart.agency within fourteen days of paying and we will refund you, no case to make — for Studio, that is your first month, and a refund ends the subscription. After that, ask anyway — if something went wrong on our side, we would rather fix it or give the money back than keep it.
What you make with it is yours
Every recording, edit and export belongs to you. We claim nothing in it. When you use Auto edit, or back a project up to the cloud, we store or pass on only what that needs, only to do it for you, and for no other purpose.
What we ask
Record only what you are allowed to record. Screens hold other people’s messages, faces and private information, and the law where you are may require their knowledge or consent. That judgement is yours; the software cannot make it for you.
Do not use Splitter to break the law, to harass anyone, or to make material that impersonates a real person in order to deceive. Do not take the app apart to get around the licence.
The AI features depend on others
Auto edit, generated music, the AI voice-over and animation run on outside services. They can be slow, be unavailable, or change what they charge us. We may replace a provider, or change what a feature costs us to run, without that being a change to your licence. Everything that runs on your own Mac — recording, editing, export, captions — keeps working regardless, including offline.
Auto edit is fair use: there is no counter to watch, but there is a ceiling on what it may cost us to run for one account in a calendar month, and a limit on runs per day. Past the ceiling, a run takes credits, which you can buy in packs on your account page; the dialog shows roughly how many a run takes before it starts, and a run that fails takes none. Credits do not expire, and are spent on Auto edit, so they are usable while you have Auto edit. Credits you have used are not refunded; unused credits are, within fourteen days of buying them. The other AI features have daily limits too.
What we do not promise
Splitter is supplied as it is. We cannot promise it is free of faults, nor that it will suit a particular purpose. Back up work that matters to you; recordings live on your machine, and a machine can fail.
Where the law allows it to be limited, our liability is capped at what you paid us. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything else the law does not let us exclude — and consumers keep every right the law where they live gives them, whatever this page says, including the legal guarantee that digital content and services work as promised.
Ending it
You can stop using Splitter whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We would only end your licence if you have had your money back for it, or if it were being used to harm someone or was obtained fraudulently, and we would tell you why.
Which law
The laws of Hong Kong apply, and disputes go to the competent courts of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the law where you live.
